Research Description

I am interested in questions regarding the genetic diversity within humans: past demographic processes, relationships between groups, and signals of adaptation to different geographic, ecological and cultural environments. During my PhD studies I have explored genomic signatures that preceded and rise with the introduction of farming practices in Africa. Currently, I am using ancient remains to help reconstruct the human demographic history in Africa.
