Research Description
My interest is the use of technologies related to the study of ancient DNA to understand the biological events that involved humans and other species of mammals during the Quaternary period. During my PhD I conducted a population genetics study, dealing with the ancient human populations of Tierra del Fuego (Chile-Argentina). Currently I am working on a project related to the of the Pleistocene range fluctuation of collared lemmings.
