Research Interests

I'm interested in the use of bioinformatic and computational methods to integrate ancient, historical, and modern genomic data into evolutionary, population, and conservation genomics studies.

We currently have funding from FORMAS (formas.se) to investigate genetic introgression from commercial into wild Swedish bumblebees, from the Swedish Research Council (vr.se) to investigate changes in genomic diversity in Swedish pollinators during the last 200 years, and from the European Research Council (erc.europa.eu) to use aDNA to describe the interactions between woolly mammoth populations and human hunter-gatherers in central Europe using massive bone accumulation sites.
